This takes place every Sunday at 9:45am at Holy Cross. The service is based on the Book of Common Worship, with a variety of musical settings throughout the year. Service is normally led by a robed choir , or occasionally in their absence, by the Holy Cross Singers. There is an area available for parents and young children, with books and toys.
On the first Sunday of the month the sermon is aimed towards younger members of the congregation and there is a crèche facility for pre-school children.
Refreshments are served in the Church Room every week after the service.
A traditional service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer, which is held every Sunday at 8:00am at Holy Cross. A peaceful and reflective service based on the 1662 prayer book.
A traditional service of Evening Prayer with a robed choir, from the Book of Common Prayer. This is held twice each month (please see Diary for dates) and begins at 6:30pm. A peaceful service, rich in choral music, that allows people to prepare themselves for the coming week.
This service is based on the worship of the Taizé Community in France. The service is held alternate months (See Diary) and attracts people from other parishes and denominations.
Once a month there is a Eucharist service at Holy Cross which starts at 10:00am on a Wednesday morning. Please see Diary for dates. Refreshments are available after this service.
