January 2005 saw the start of the first Alpha course for Holy Cross. This was set up with Otham & Langley Parish under the guidance of their Rector, Andrew Sewell.

Subsequently, courses have been held during the autumn term. This year, 2007, there is a record number of participants from both benefices. Andrew Sewell and his curate, Elizabeth Bussman, have been assisited by our OLM, Jenny Manners. The leadreship team includes lay people with experience of Alpha.

We are delighted that two members of last year's course and three from this year were confirmed by Bishop Graham at Holy Cross on 4th November '07.
