Protection Officer |
One person
is appointed to ensure that those working with children are vetted as required
by government legislation. |

| Crèche |
There is
a crèche at the Sung Eucharist service. Parents take their children
to the Church Room during the second hymn and collect them at the start
of the administration of Holy Communion. |

| Toddlers |
The toddler
group meets on Tuesday mornings, 9.45am to 11.45am, and Thursday mornings, 9.45am to 11.45am, in the Church Room.
It is open to everybody including dads, grandparents and carers with children aged 0
to 3 years. You will meet other parents, and your children will play in
a safe environment. Coffee and juice are provided, and there is a mixture
of toys, singing, craft and chat. Please see the diary
for the times. |

Toddler Praise |
A Toddler and baby service is held once a month on a Friday from 1.30pm to 2.30pm in the Holy Cross Church Room. Parents, grandparents and carers with children aged 0
to 4 years are welcome to come. Each month there is a theme from a Bible story with activities and songs. This
informal session end with refreshments, playtime and a chat.

| Seekers |
Seekers
is the name for the Holy Cross Sunday School. The children, aged 4 1/2 to
10 years, meet at 9:15am at the Memorial Hall in Manor Rise. The aim is
to introduce the children to the Christian faith in a safe and fun environment
with a range of activities, craft, games, music and stories. |

| Rock Solid 2 |
Rock Solid 2
caters for the 11 to 14 year age group. They meet in the WI Hall at
the same time as Seekers. There is a range of activities, which include
drama, discussion, quizzes and games. |

| Rock Solid |
Our interactive youth club each Wednesday evening (term time) at the Memorial Hall 6:30-8:00pm. For 11-14 Yr olds, school years (6-9).
A fun inclusive safe environment where they can meet socially and "chill" through a combination of games, music, teaching and activities. By meeting
midweek, clashes with weekend clubs and hobbies are avoided. |

An informal, friendly and fun monthly Sunday Service for all the
family at Holy Cross Church from 4pm to 5pm. There is a Bible story, activities, songs and refreshments. |

Holiday
Club |
| During
one of the school half terms, a week-long Holiday Club meets each morning
for games, activities and worship. It takes place at one of the local schools
and attracts many children who otherwise do not come to church. Volunteers,
young and old, help with the children who regularly number about sixty.
