| Child Protection Officer | One person is appointed to ensure that those working with children are vetted as required by government legislation. |
| Créche | There is a créche at the Sung Eucharist service. Parents take their children to the Church Room during the second hymn and collect them at the start of the administration of Holy Communion. |
| Toddlers | The toddler group meets on Tuesday mornings, 10am to 11.45am, and Thursday mornings, 9.45am to 11.45am, in the Church Room. It is open to everybody including dads and nannies with children aged 0 to 3 years. You will meet other parents, and your children will play in a safe environment. Coffee and juice are provided, and there is a mixture of toys, singing, drawing and chat. |
| Seekers | Seekers is the name for the Holy Cross Sunday School. The children, aged 4 1/2 to 10 years, meet at 9:15am at the Memorial Hall in Manor Rise and are accompanied to the church to be with their families in time for Communion. The aim is to introduce the children to the Christian faith in a safe and fun environment with a range of activities, craft, games, music and stories. |
| Pathfinders | Pathfinders caters for the 10 to 13 year age group. They meet in the Memorial Hall at the same time as Seekers. There is a range of activities, which include drama, discussion, quizzes and games. |
| Trekkers | This group, for those aged 10 to 12 years, meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00pm in the Memorial Hall. The emphasis is on doing and taking part and comprises a combination of fun, games, teaching and activities. By meeting midweek, clashes with weekend clubs and hobbies are avoided. |
