The
monument to Doctor Robert Fludd, of Milgate (1574 -1637) referred to on
his brass, is now located in the tower lobby at the West end of the Church.
The learned Doctor, who was a leading member of the sect known as Rosicrucians,
wrote many Latin books on the occult and philosophical subjects. The memorial
is a copy of Camden's monument in Westminster Abbey.
