Local Outreach
Friday Club	On the third Friday of the month a group of elderly people, who might otherwise be housebound, meets for tea and a chat at the house of a parishioner. They are collected and returned by a volunteer driver.
	The Eastbourne Trip
	At the end of the summer season Holy Cross has organised a week's holiday in Eastbourne for senior citizens in a hotel on the sea front. Unfortunately, because of insurance problems, it is no longer possible to arrange these holidays.
Support For The Bereaved	Some members of the congregation help the clergy in their ministry to the bereaved by visiting.
Home Communion	Holy Communion is taken by authorised lay people to a number of residents who are unable to come to church.
Residential Homes	Monthly communion services are held at one of the residential homes in Bearsted. Members of the Holy Cross family are encouraged to attend.
Art Group	The Art Group meets on Wednesday afternoons in the Church Room and welcomes anyone who likes to paint.
