This sub-committee of the PCC organises a number of events each year including the Harvest Supper and Family Barbeque. There are many other events during the year such as mulled wine and mince pies after church one Sunday in December.
The Harvest Supper brings together a wide range of ages within the church for an evening full of fun and fellowship. It usually starts with a tasty fish and chip supper followed by a wide variety of homemade entertainment including musical renditions, sketches and the famous 'Holy Cross puppets':
The Barbeque is always a popular event where people can sit and enjoy each other's company. A delicious choice of meat or vegetarian option is provided with attendees providing an array of salads and popular puddings. There is plenty of room for children to run about, play and join in a game of rounders if they wish.
